Those who receive our emails were notified of multiple updates to our website.  These were shared last evening:

There is one additional update for those who haven't visited the site yet.  We have a new Events section that has information about plant sales,  educational events, and our tentative itinerary for next year's meetings.  Please keep in mind these are subject to change as the year progresses.  We appreciate the help of @D. Morrowii, @ChristianStAug, and @Fishinsteeg234 with scheduling a slate of meetings that are sure to be eye-catching.

The site will continue to be updated more regularly now that we have the appropriate access and expertise in place.

A few updates were made to the site:

  • The Events section now has a list of upcoming plant sales, with the first one coming up this weekend.
  • The email issue that was causing messages to drift off into cyberspace should be corrected.  If you want to reach an individual board member, you should now be able to do so at the address listed for that individual in the About Us section.  If it doesn't work, you should still be able to contact the membership address to report the an issue, or post here.
  • A ton of updates to both the software, theme, and layout too numerous to list individually.  We recommend checking it out to get used to the navigation and report any issues you find.

It appears that it has been taken offline.  We were unable to maintain the site, but the new guard (current officers) did not know who to contact about recovering the domain and admin credentials from the old guard (former officers).  We sent an email to all of the officers listed in the old CFPACS publications at their cfpacs.org address, but did not receive a response.

We'll remove the link to the old site if it does not come back up.  Thank you for letting us know.  If you ever happen to be in Florida during one of meetings, please feel free to drop in.

www.cfpacs.org looks like it is up again.  It may have just been a temporary outage.
