I suddenly got these in the mail. The seller claimed it is some sort of Parajubaea. He sent them long before I filed a dispute so they might be all dead. What are these most likely and is there any hope for them?

Sorry, I don't think they are, unfortunately.

Parajubaeas have remote germination, and three very distinct 'eyes', which I can't make out in your pics. The radicle should appear out of an eye, then the eophyll emerges from below soil level. There should not be a shoot from any other part of the seed.

Photo below from the net shows this very clearly.

They don't look super healthy but I think they will be OK.  The seeds look like Attalea to me but Attalea are also remote germinators.  This pic is Attalea cohune I germinated last year.

Thanks, they are definitely not very healthy due to being in the mail since 26 November. I will put most in a community pot tomorrow.

the seeds are rather large.

I hope you are correct, because that seems like a nice palm. Were they root sensitive? As in can I put them fairly close in a pot until they get some growth so I can separate them into individual containers?

with my limited knowledge of seed it looked like Foxtail to me, here is some foxtail seeds:

The same guy that sold me wrong seedlings. I opened a dispute on him, but he sent the seeds anyway.

His name starts with BD followed by a bunch of numbers and letters. He claims to have seeds from all over the sun including Butiagrus/Mule

I usually have gotten a lot of legit stuff from Mercadolibre. A lot of my collection is from there. I been able to get: Brahea Armata, blue Bismarck, Green Bismarck, Chamerops seedling, chamedorea metálica, Regia/ royal, Teddy bear palms, Pindos, Triangle palm, Majesty, Kentia. I also got a larger palm with some trunk I believe was a real Parajubaea, but it died due to shock I think. Been scammed 2 times there. However it has never been over anything big. I am waiting for a King Alexander palm currently from another seller I know is legit. I had one prior from him, but it died when I gave it to a friend.
think I will get some more teddy bears too.

I agree either Foxtail, parajubaea cocoides or the oil palm that was mentioned. Anyone got some more input?

Yes, that's how I remember Wodyetia seeds to look like.  :) And they're adjacent germinators similar to @Palmfarmer's.

See my post above...not Parajubaea!

I wouldn't buy from that seller again.

Do you have a photo of the larger palm you got? Maybe we could ID it and see if it was the real thing so you can buy another one from the same seller again.

The “Archontophoenix alexandrae“ I just got looks like just some Dypsis crap. That was from a completely different vendor,

Here is the Supposed Archontephoenix:

It’s a shame mercado libre has a bunch of palm scammers these days. I used to get a lot of good stuff there that was semi rare like: green Bismarcks and Teddy bears

That doesn't even look like a Chrysalidocarpus. It looks like some sort of fan palm but not sure which one. Very hard to ID. I only buy off facebook nowadays and make sure the seller actually has what I want by checking if the photos they send or post actually come from them and not from google or other person in social media. I got this Syagrus sancona (The real thing) from the seller I recommended you last time some weeks ago and it's growing nicely. Also got Chamaedorea tepejilote and microspadix from him earlier this year.

@Palmfarmer In 2022 I ordered an "Acrocomia aculeata" seedling from one of these sellers. I'm talking about that seller who puts stuff like "jardín elegante" or "jardín único" at the end of his product's name and I ended up recieving 3 Chrysalidocarpus lutescens seedlings. I think I even made a topic here about it. Tired of scams I luckily found a guy who I had bought an Acrocomia (That died after recieving it) from earlier in summer 2021 in early 2023 and I recieved 2 nice seedlings that were the real thing.

I used to do some custom orders trough a vivero locally that was a little overpriced maybe but great. Unfortunately it was not profitable so he stopped his online shop eventually. Got a good size Livestona, big blue Chamerops, Majesty, Kentia and some others.

Yes I bought some legit seedlings from him. Recently got a chamadorea plumoso and Beccariophoenix fenestralis. Also got a Brandegeei in my garden I bought from him. It’s gaining size.

he told me he will be on the lookout for kentiopsis.

I think most of the listings that says +regaló at the end is the same person selling seedlings mislabeled. Wish Mercadolibre would take it more seriously.
