Well I’m a bit surprised but also glad to see that my sylvester palm is going to flower in the coming months. Unfortunately i got a male (i’ve known since i bought it) and he has no partner, but i was wondering if i can save the pollen for future use (like hybridization)? If so what’s the easiest way to do so and how long might it last? Also how would i even get my hands in here 😟IMG_7773.thumb.jpeg.55828d1937527f4d0134bd08366c64e5.jpeg

If you can collect it. Put it in a jar and freeze it.  It can stay frozen for a few years. I freeze Medjool pollen.
