Spectacular new leaf on this rather slow growing palm. Was Actinokentia, but moved into Chambeyronia. 

Personally, I think they look better in a grouping because of their sparse habit.

That’s awesome! I was very lucky to get a few of these from another collector. I’ve planted one under the shade of a Chambeyronia macrocarpa and 2 others together near a Howea forsteriana and Hedyscepe. One of my favourites (like all Chambeyronia sp), can’t wait to see the fireworks display on mine.

Love these, slow growers but they always look happy for me at least over the last couple of years. The red on the new fronds on the ones I have kind of intensify for awhile after they open.

I don’t know how man6 more palms you will be able to fit into your garden Tim. But I have a feeling rooftop gardening is your next bit of palm real estate 🏡

Mine put put three leaves this year and half or so, almost ready to go up from its 1 gallon it arrived in too.  Gotta be a tough plant if you want to grow that slow, all the leaves still look flawless on it.
