Not sure what species of tree this one is. Actually I have no idea at all. I only know that I purchased it 25 years ago at the markets and it is possibly an Australian tree. I was buying a lot of Australian trees from the same market stall that sold Australian rainforest trees. And the gentleman is still selling trees at the same markets 25 years later that’s dedication.

Pretty sure that's Capparis arborea, native to Eastern Australia. Beautiful flower!

It’s the first time it’s flowered after 23 years. But a true rare rainforest gem to have in the garden.

Cheers Jonathan it’s got a story behind the tree being planted, with the tree being named Vicky many years ago.

Yes you do a green rhdd as pus and a variegated one planted together along with Cham adscendens also with a small dypsis rivularis in there. The empty space is going to get planted with more adscendens. I have so many chamaedoreas in my garden with some spectacular specimens you would love them all.
