What kind of grow lights should I get for my palms?

You'll have to elaborate a bit. What species, are there any windows in the room, and where are they facing? How big are the palms?

there are thousands upon thousands of options haha, so it is tough.

6500K is the ideal color temperature for plant growth, although some say 4500K is better for flowering.

Go with LED lights. In 2025, the halogen and T9 fluorescents are obsolete and way more expensive to run than an LED. Don't pay attention to wattage like you would with an incandescent. Wattage for LED lights is only an indication of energy usage, not brightness or photosynthetically active radiation (PAR, which is hard to measure without professional tools), so don't worry about going with an LED that is under 50W.

I have one of these. It seems to do OK. Bright enough to cause algae growth in my sealed terrariums and my full-sun succulents like Adenium obesum love it. My container palms being overwintered inside probably could use even more light but it seems somewhat adequate combined with a southern window. It's also sometimes on sale on Amazon. Go for one with the higher Kelvin color temperature; it won't cast a green-blue fluorescent-type light:

I also have a LED strip used for tree and dart frog vivariums that doubles as a grow light for plants. They seem happy with it, especially since they get very little natural light from a northern window. That one is 6500K and has been keeping my Licuala peltata seedling alive

I would add, when it comes to palms grown outdoors and brought inside for winter, that if you're trying to decide between two different lights, go for the one with as many LEDs on it as possible. The strength of the light starts to decrease rapidly more than 12 inches away from the LEDs so you want as many as possible. If leaves closer to the light start to bleach out, you can just reposition it a few inches further away
