I’m protecting my Trachycarpus fortunei for this upcoming cold snap in Pennsylvania, zone 7a. Under 20 degrees for the next three days. This is their second winter. I originally got them as a two pack from Home Depot. First I shoveled snow over them, then stuck a box over that, a blanket over that, and some snow and wood to hold the blanket down. I don’t think it’s supposed to be too windy.
