Unfortunately I had to move my Sabal uresana.  It was sitting in standing water and slowly dying.  Hopefully it'll survive the move - I did my best to avoid damage to the growth point and roots.

You should plan some sable miners where you  remove the Sabal uresana

Wow, that is some swampy-looking ground. It is probably great for those hibiscus.

I hope your uresana recovers for you. They are really nice palms. It would be a shame to lose it.

Yeah, I'd hate to lose the uresana even though I have several other Sabals.  It's like a shallow pond area now with no other plant affected except possibly a bougainvillea which is in a high spot about 6' from the water's edge.

Here's some from last month at my place. These are weeds and I pull out tons after they flower, but just as many pop up the following late winter.

These and snow drops are indicators of an approaching spring season.

Do you plan on removing those pines as well? Gonna get crowded in that spot.

Sorry I just saw this, but no probably not. They’re actually doing well and mysteriously most of the pines bordering my yard are dying off one by one. So, not gonna be removed because they might not even live to the point where that space gets crowded. I appreciate the conifers too you know 😔.

Also, not a palm but I have recently made another planting - Yucca filamentosa. It’s been planted next to my agave. Planted 2 poinsettias behind nearby as well tho they are not pictured.

And some more planted elsewhere.

What's an "everglades" palm? I see what appears to be a Med palm (Chamaerops humilis)? Lookin' good.

Acoelorraphe wrightii is the scientific name. I struggle to even remember the scientific names much less spell them lol. It does look similar to a Mediterranean fan.

Good! I'm a big fan of the southern pines too. They grow fast and beautiful.  A longleaf of mine grew 20 feet in like 3 or 4 years. Plus palms can grow at the base of trees and do great
