Germinated from seed in 2010 my largest Hedyscepe has finally  flowered and now setting seed

They obviously love my cool humid frost free climate at 42 degrees South.

Fantastic, Troy !  The bright red fruits against the bluish crownshaft will be most photogenic !   This is my favorite palm.  :greenthumb:

@Tassie_Troy1971, this palm is responsible for my love of Hedyscepe’s.  She’s a beauty and the happiest of happy in your climate. Congrats on your future offspring.

Well done Troy, what a beautiful palm. You picked some fantastic palms to grow in your garden and they are growing up and rewarding you for your great choices and care.

That is fantastic. Amazed at how little trunk they need to flower. I see similar attributes In Rhopalostylis. 15 years from germination. That is quick. Well done.

Aus Samen im Jahr 2010 gekeimt, hat mein größter Hedyscepe endlich geblüht und setzt jetzt Samen an

Sie lieben offensichtlich mein kühles, feuchtes, frostfreies Klima bei 42 Grad Süd.
