Man @Tracy these things look SO good at your place!!  My wife is drooling over these photos!!

I am wondering if Aloidendron berberae would do well in my climate because I believe they are native to semi-arid, humid climates like mine.

Give it a try Adam.   I just was at the Orange Big Box for a propane tank and saw 5 gallon Hercules for $29.99.  Hopefully you can get a berberae there for a reasonable price.
