The gate bell rang. Not expecting anyone so I have to risk my recently polished nails on the touchscreen monitor. Ooh it's a delivery man (my favourite kind of bell ringer) But wait.....I haven't bought anything for a while. Has St Therese sent another miracle down to me ?  No, it was that naughty man happypalms, recognising my near palmless state he took pity on a poor pathetic crippled lady and shouted me a lovely new palm from Chris and Arden. Drum rolls please ......  I do know the name and species by the way but do you ?  Thanks Richard for the lovely prezzie.

Still swooning over the loveliness of it all.

Oakley, California

Solid zone 9, I can expect at least one night in the mid to low twenties every year.

Hot, dry summers. Cold, wet winters.
