As a palm grower I love the rain and we certainly are getting our fair share of it. If 500mm wasn’t enough from the recent cyclone was t enough where in for some more wet days ahead again.

Looks like most of the east coast is well watered. How is the west coast doing?

I’m not technically west coast being on the southern ocean, but I’m in the general westerly part of the continent. The answer to your question is dry, but on the 13th of March my place got about 130mm of rain in a few hours. Everything was drenched and it increased the humidity really nicely. Humidity has been epic this summer.

Millbrook, "Kinjarling" Noongar word meaning "Place of Rain", Rainbow Coast, Western Australia 35S. Warm temperate. Csb Koeppen Climate classification. Cool nights all year round.

Wow. 130 mm in a day is a lot. That's a month's worth I should think.

At this time of year it’s 4 or 5 months of rain in this area.
