Hi everyone,

Purchased this travelers palm about a year ago off of marketplace ! It receives only morning sun & I would love to plant it in the ground. I feel like it's slow growing.

I'm just worried it's not mature enough. Would it take off in the ground ? I just really love this little guy & want it to thrive !

Xtazia, Welcome to the forum.

Where you're located, these should do fine.. Be aware though, they can get big ..so maybe give it a little space. when planting.  Can be planted at the size it is atm, or, you can keep it in the pot it is in until this time next year to give it a little more time to get a little bigger before planting out as well.

An old thread ( Been a few other threads on the topic over the years too ) about S. Cal Traveler's Palms.
