Hi everyone,

I'm based in Algeria, and I recently came across a few Queen Palm seeds (Syagrus romanzoffiana) that I found fallen on the street from a beautiful local specimen. What’s really interesting is that the Queen Palms here look quite different from the ones I saw back when I was in Florida and California. The ones here seem to have a slightly different growth habit and appearance — maybe due to the climate or soil — but they’re still striking and graceful.

I’ve collected a few extra seeds and would love to trade them with anyone who has seeds of Foxtail Palms (Wodyetia bifurcata) or Roystonea (Royal Palms). I’m a big fan of both and would love to grow them here.

Let me know if you're interested — happy to work out a fair exchange!

Cheers,

@Ben zak, Syagrus romanzoffiana seeds are easily obtained in most palmy areas here.  But if the seeds you have came from an unusual looking palm you'd do better to show a photo of the palm itself in addition to the seeds.  Good luck!
