Another banana question - should I remove a crumpled flag leaf? Most of the leaves were snapped or torn during delivery. I pruned those.

No, I'd leave it to open up...that's the plants only growing point at the moment. The next leaf will be normal, then later on you can cut the crumpled one if it bothers you.

I've only cut them if they are obstructing the new leaves from growing through the center.  I had one that got "stuck" and started trying to grow into a gigantic "U" shape.  At that point I took a razor knife and sliced it open to free the growing point.  Otherwise just leave it alone.

FYI - a flag leaf is the last leaf before the flower emerges, its much smaller.  That's just a normal leaf and I would leave it alone.
