A great little palm for the garden. Small thin stem stilt roots easy to grow and for some it doesn’t clump, a perfect little palm for that tropical look. A little cool tolerance I don’t think frost would be very friendly to it. Even as seedlings there beautiful. A top little palm Iam definitely looking forward to planting them around my garden.

They are a gorgeous little palm, took me years to find one. (wonder where I did get it from ? :D) They are often confused with Areca novo hibernica which is reputedly tolerant to cold. I've never been able to keep Areca of any kind alive indoors so my baby is in the shade house and hopefully (with many prayers to St Therese) it will cope with my winter nights.

I have a couple in the garden that are starting to flower. I found them at a local plant sale for 8$ . Such a great palm and definitely has the it factor (got to have it)

They are indeed a beautiful palm and easy on the eye and quite pleasing. I don’t have any indoor plants at all inside which is a shame really they are good for your health indoors, I guess I have to many plants in my which is a good thing I just don’t want them in my house for a strange reason beyond my belief. I find with the new plants if they live outside they live to tuff it out I couldn’t go through 5 years of constant winter protection and worry only to have it die the day I forget to bring it inside to have it die in one night in the cold.

Good score a couple flowering the world needs more palm seeds. And $8 bucks for a quality palm is a bargain. I will be planting quite a few in my garden over the next few years that’s for sure.
