Dave,Glad you spent the appropriate time at Edison and Ford.Thank you for the magnificient coverage. It is always amazing to me when I stray over there the outlandish number of many specimens that still are relatively unknown.The age and maturity of those trees is baroque.

Still fun to envision Edison and Ford with their wives at the Understated but elegant Dining room.Thereafter, Mrs. Ford and Mrs Edison retire to their respective domilcilaries so husbands can discuss world affairs,research and palms.After numerous cups,the conversation becomes a little slurred.More people seem to enter the study.Edison notes 3 Ford's, Ford notes 2 Edison's.Time to go! Lychee is a slock off of the appropriate Latin nomenclature for all species.In this case,Lychi chinesis.I am not sure how the slock off to Lychee occurred.It would be an interesting intellectual undertaking.No, the folks that run Edison do know how to spell!

Very special photos of a special place, David.  :)  I've never been to Ft. Myers, but will be sure to plan a trip there someday.  I guess it's about four hours from Broward County so even though I get car  :(  sick when trips are over 90 minutes, it will be worth the possible nausea to visit such varietally bountiful gardens are as these two! :;):
