Kim!  I'm so glad you are posting your pics!  I love your coverage of these events!!  Thanks! Keep it up!

Just a little help.  "Max" is actually Bill Dickenson, see his garden and "Lytoagrus" on page 7 of the 007 and Ken thread.

I also believe post 37 is the Nannorrhops.

Please continue. :)

Oh, I was afraid of that.  I was thinking, "Max? Larry??"  Apologies to Bill Dickenson, I am really bad with names.

And the Nannorrhops, I knew that didn't look like the other decumbens...  That's why I do this, just so you guys can set me straight... :o

More photos to come when I have more time;  sadly I do not have a photo of Paul at 6am looking like a zombie, sorry folks.

BTW, I believe the bottom picture in post 41 is Acrocomia acueata, basically a spiny looking Queen Palm.

Great shots by all. Huntington looks awesome as do all the other private Gardens. The shots showing the Palms and the Snow topped Mountains are terriffic.Paul you are absolutely correct to be very careful around those cute girls at that age and heighth.I have a number of nieces, who I have watched grow up.They instinctively know just how to get your full undivided attention and while you are bent over or on the floor in pain, they are grinning at you! Our two boys at that size were equally dangerous but seemingly not quite as intentional!

Great photos Kim,

I can't believe they have a fruiting Jackfruit tree in there.  I have a plant outside that seems pretty happy, but I really doubt I'll ever get an fruit off it.

By the way, the "cool flowering plant" in post 66 is a  Pleurothallis, a type of orchid.

Dear Paul & Dear Kim  :)

lovely coverage and both of you have covered the gardens so beautiful, even if had visited that place personally,i would have miss few of those beautiful places & plants...

And Kim lovely stills of palms & i assume that they were taken using the Nikon_D40x.the colours of stills ar very life like and with no or minium colour artifacts, which is not a possibility with regular digital camera's.

since most of the times i see the roads appearing more blueish than blackish in most of our cameras..!

And since iam having sever bandwidth problems here in india due to submersible internet cables snaped near port alexandera_Egypt ! so kindly bare with me on my late participation since the page does not load at all properly!_Paul. :)

lots of love to you both,
